McDermott Caspian Contractors, Inc., branch of worldwide engineering and construction company in oil and gas industry, is interested in recruiting the following category of personnel.

Medical Officer relieve (Onshore/Offshore)

Education: Certified Medical Practitioner

Experience: 3 – 5 years as Medical Practitioner. Previous work in a hospital
Emergency Room or company medical clinic is preferable.

Trainings: Applicants with trainings on BLS, ACLS and ATLS or related
undertakings is preferred.

Basic function: Provides medical care and performs administrative work related to the job

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Attends to daily patient consultation and treatment of illness and injuries in the First Aid Station/Clinic
• Provides injury notification reports to key employees of the company
• Coordinate and follows up (hospital visit as required when admitted) medical and injury cases referred to third party hospitals/clinics for further evaluation and management
• Provides medical reports of significant illnesses seen in the First Aid Station
• Monitors/updates the inventory and maintenance of medical equipments (First Aid Kits, Jump bags & etc) and supplies in the First Aid Station/Clinic
• Conducts hygiene and sanitation inspection of company accommodations, work sites and canteens and provide reports
• Participates in medical and safety related drills conducted by the HSES Dept.
• Conducts medical awareness lectures/information drives to employees on pertinent or significant medical issues as required
• Willing to be assigned offshore as needed

Added Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communication in English, Azerbaijan and Russian
• Good interpersonal and patient skills
• Good knowledge in Occupational Health and Industrial Medicine practice is preferable
