Sales Trainer, Azerbaijan

Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is one of the leaders of global tobacco market. JTI produces about 90 world-known cigarette brands including top-selling Winston, Camel and Mild Seven.

We are pleased to open the position of a Sales Trainer based in Baku.

Main responsibilities:

Business development
• Know the mission and strategy of the company in the market.
Development of employees
• To identify training and development needs of the team in the regulated marketplace.
• To select and prioritize the appropriate tools and techniques for development of skills.
• To develop a system of implementation in the everyday work practices of the knowledge and skills acquired in training and seminars.
• To provide feedback after the training and the seminar to line managers of the trained staff. Participate in the discussion of ways of development of the staff and elaboration of individual development plans.
• To provide feedback to the trainees. Prescribe feedback after joint visits to the Professional Development File.
Development activities
• To conduct training programs for the team in accordance with the schedule of training sessions.
• Together with leaders to develop and conduct workshops and modules for the teams. Regularly go out for joint visits with the staff in order to develop the skills acquired during training, as well as to identify needs for further development.
• To use in the work the tools (video, audio, questionnaires) and the processes (feedback).
Evaluation of staff
• To develop pre / post-training questionnaires, tests for trainees. Assess knowledge and skills of employees using tests, questionnaires.
• Track the dynamics of compliance of the staff with the profile.
• To analyze together with the supervisors the degree of development and the compliance with the required level of the team.

Requirements:

• Education:    University degree;
• Work Experience: At least 2 years’ experience as a business trainer or sales supervisor in international FMCG Company;
• Languages skills: fluency in Azeri and Russian, English is appreciated;
• Computer Proficiency: PC literacy: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook;
• Personal characteristics: ability to integrate into a team of professionals and to cooperate as a full member; travel, when necessary; ability to work under pressure.
