Job Description:

• Develops and maintains a comprehensive list of press, media, and community; communication mediums; writes, produces, and distributes press kits, feature stories;
• Collates and analyzes media coverage, keeps track and storage of all UFAZ related content published in the media in Azerbaijan and abroad;
• Provides photographic services during special events;
• Maintains and updates information on the University's website;
• Manages and updates information and engages with users on social media sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn Instagram and Facebook;
• Uses social media marketing tools to create and maintain to University’s brand;
• Works with marketing professionals to develop social media and marketing campaigns;
• Analyzes the University’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and makes recommendations for improvements;
• Researches social media trends and informs management about changes that are relevant to the University’s awareness activities;
• Sets key performance indicators for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measures a campaign’s performance.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in marketing, PR, Journalism, or related field;
• Experience as Social Media Specialist/Manager or as similar position;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Azerbaijani and English languages are required; French language is preferable;
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn);
• Excellent communication, presentation, and creative thinking skills;
• Proficiency with computing software such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Adobe Suites;
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels;
• Ability to work under pressure and with tough deadlines.
