Technical Clerk

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:  Higher Institution Graduate, Technical/Engineering background    is advantage
Work Experience:  Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Oil and    Gas Construction; 
Knowledge of Languages:    English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent),Russian (good)

Responsibilities:

Providing primary support Barge Superintendent and Project Management Team in project and personnel administration tasks;
In co-ordination with technical engineering staff collecting information and producing daily work progress reports comprising comprehensive data on the works carried out, HSE inputs, weather reports, marine spread activities, personnel movements etc. Providing necessary information to main office for producing general monthly project reports;
Organizing daily work progress meetings and producing minutes of meeting. Providing update to Superintendent on various outstanding issues related to project fields (construction, HSE, logistics, catering, subcontractors activities);
In co-ordination with Superintendent and technical engineering staff generate the list of daily tasks to be undertaken within the project and provide to Superintendent for review and approval, ensuring the distribution among the parties involved;
Assisting with preparing Action Tracking Lists, Punch Lists of outstanding items pertaining to various phases of the project and revising the lists incorporating updates gathered from the parties concerned and distributing to managerial staff;
Maintaining liaison with subcontractors representatives and playing a part in communication of the Barge Superintendent with them, transmitting their enquiries to relevant project staff and supplying feedbacks;
Coordinating subcontractors’ paperwork, collecting project-related documents and submitting to Superintendent for review and approval, filing up the documentation and presenting to QA/QC for integrating to project as-built documentation package;
Assisting Superintendent in maintaining relationship with local staff, enacting as a communication bridge with the local staff and expats;
Providing verbal and written translation services on the barge, composing office letters/emails as required.
Assisting with urgent and ad-hoc document control functions as required.
