Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day

Salary: 800-1000 azn

HSE Officer, duties, and responsibilities:

• Advise and instruct company personnel on safety-related issues, company and customer HSSE expectations and contract or project requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, hazard identification and provide advise and input into improving safety awareness, improving mitigation and control measures.
• Inspect company premises and the work performed by company personnel to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that may cause harm to people, equipment, or the environment.
• Record and assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents to determine root causes.
• Record key lessons from events within the Company and across industry and where appropriate distribute topical and important information using internal HSE noticeboards or email communications.
• Prepare accurate reports related to HSE events and provide statistical information for weekly, monthly HSE performance.
• To comply with the safety procedures implemented by the company.
• To take immediate actions or report to direct supervisor on any actual or potential danger to health, safety, or equipment on site.
• To comply with environmental standards implemented in the company.
• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.
• Assist company to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to Health and Safety and Occupational Health and Safety.
• Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of (HSE) legislation and developments that could affect or impact on the companies personnel or operations.
• Maintain QHSE info boards ensuring remote locations are provided with current information.
• Maintain QHSE reference documents and ensure consistency of HSE procedures and forms.
• Maintain both electronic and hard copy HSE file structures to ensure accessibility and ease of use.
• Support internal or external QHSE meetings and co-ordinate HSE meetings, including scheduling and invitation, circulate minutes to all these concerned.
• Support planned monthly HSSE inspections and track/ expedite actions to close-out.
• Participate in QHSE Audits or inspections.
• Coordinate and provide HSE input and supporting information for company tender submissions.
• Conduct HSE inductions and HSE related trainings for employees
• Prepare training materials for HSE related subjects to improve HSE knowledge, competence, and the safety performance of company personnel.

HSE Officer, desired experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• University degree and relevant certificates
• Working knowledge of HSE regulations, processes, procedures, site safety, control of work systems, hazard identification, risk assessments for Oil and Gas projects and sites.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Hard and dynamic worker, good physical condition
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent Azerbaijani and good command of English language
• Excellent knowledge of computers: MS Office, presentation, spreadsheets, document preparation
• Good analytical skills
