Reporting directly to the Communications Manager, supports the development of proactive and effective communications. Drafts website updates, news releases, member bulletins, brochures and other written materials. Assists in the promotion of the organization’s brand identity and public image.

Title: Communication Specialist

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Implement company’s communication strategy
• Support communications objectives and communications plans
• Liaise with partner organization/institutions on a regular basis and responsible for publications in media
• Compose, edit, design and produce publications such as newsletters and correspondence
• Involved in internal communication process
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with stakeholders
• Assist with the website content, update and maintenance
• Implement outreach and promotional campaigns
• Produce print and other outreach & informational materials
• Manage and develop relationships to PR agencies and media representatives
• Event management
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
• At least Bachelor Degree in social sciences or Communication/PR/Marketing with a focus on professional writing, journalism, communications, public relations or equivalent work-related experience
• Minimum two years communications or public relations experience
• Experience with multinational companies is an advantage
Skills & Knowledge
This position requires a demonstrated level of initiative and judgment in order to organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in every day working relationships.
