Job Title: Assistant Doctor

All doctors must have registration with a license approved to legally practice medicine and undertake activities restricted by the law to doctors in the country of operation.

Tasks, duties and responsibilities

• Master and apply the diagnostic procedures using the standard equipment at the Chenot Medical Department;
• Provide and conduct medical diagnostic procedures in accordance with Chenot established program;
• Record, and maintain guest information, such as examination results;
• Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information of the guest taking into account, physical, emotional and social factors;
• If demanded, provide live translation (English, Russian, Azeri) between the guest and the medical staff;
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality;
• Be accessible at all times whilst on duty by mobile phone;
• Collaborate and provide collegial services to other doctors caring for guests with special problems;
• Manage the service to guests as effectively as possible;
• Undertake clinically related administration and non-clerical duties needed for the delivery of high quality medical services of the spa;
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of medical and diagnostic services as well as the best practice in seeking to improve the quality of services provided to the guests;
• Provide additional services in the event of an emergency within the post holder’s clinical competence if necessary;

Skills, Abilities and Personal Attributes

• Good speaking and writing abilities of Azeri, Russian and English languages;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written;
• Understanding of the role of teamwork in providing quality services;
• Effective team worker;
• Ability to undertake clinical audit;
• Flexibility in shift/working patterns to meet the needs of the service in a developing and changing environment;
• To be responsible to the employer and subject to the Practice complaints procedure.

Knowledge and experience

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Medical Doctor;
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services. This includes guest needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of guest satisfaction;
• Understanding of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests;
• Understanding of the role of teamwork in providing quality services;
• Experience in maintaining patients records at an acceptable standard for audit purposes.
