Job title Chief Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting as per local legislation
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of local budget and forecast information
• Prepare payrolls
• Ensure strict compliance with company’s policies and regulations
• Supervise and ensure regularity of company’s transactions
• Conduct financial analysis and report on company’s spending
• Keep know-how of the structure updated to local needs in a changing legal environment
• Ensure regularity of reporting to state bodies (tax, social insurance, statistics, etc)
• Interaction with external contacts (local consultants, authorities, external auditors, banks, business partners)

Essential Education

A university degree in the area of finance/accounting

Essential experience and job requirements

• Have more than 3 years of relevant work experience
• IFRS
• Knowledge and experience of local tax and reporting rules
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Advance knowledge of standard accounting principles
• Proficiency in Azeri, English and Russian
