IT Technician for ecommerce business

Job duties:

• Develops site architecture, optimizes processes, and supports the brand ecommerce ecosystem;
• To link information online with inventory and logistics teams to efficiently move and monitor merchandise.
• To be responsible for data storage and security
• Ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of an ecommerce platform, including software integrations and merchant and retailer relationships;
• Defines, recommends, and executes a vision for ecommerce sites aligned with IT strategy;
• Understands strengths and weaknesses in system architecture, anticipating vulnerabilities and developing contingency plans; and
• Experience with ecommerce software platforms; and
• Experience with PIM, DAM, MDM, and PXM a plus.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
• Database work experience
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, algorithmic knowledge
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team, and problem-solve collaboratively
• Technical level of English language proficiency
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
