JOB DIMENSIONS / CONTEXT

Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is an early development phase to target a first gas production mid-2022.
The Full Field Development studies have started based on the promising results of EPS well ABD001.
JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum is a new Company created in March 2018, which is the Operator of
Absheron from August 2018.
Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.
EPS Project technical data:
152Mscf/d of gas, 12kbbl/d of condensate; production from 1 subsea well, 34km multiphase flowline, dedicated new platform
installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR); WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.

ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job holder’s overall responsibility is customizing specific standards and specifications to JOCAP requirements.
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, to the Company
Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility. He shall respect the JOCAP Code of Conduct and Maintain ethical culture at the workplace.
 Develop and implement process improvement programs to enhance Project Company Management System.
 Able to resolve technical issues raised against specification requirements.
 Able to support Project and Operations teams in their documentation development.
 Good communication and formal reporting skills and able to actively contribute at specific meetings.
 Must be familiar with International Standards and Governmental requirements.
 Review with SME (Subject Matter Experts) the applicable standards compatibility of the Absheron Project requirements.
 Maintain Company Management System files so that information is readily available to other department members.
 Have working knowledge of design, manufacture, metallurgy, welding and codes associated with fabrication and construction of plant and equipment.
 Liaison with Project Engineering/ Construction team members and Company Operations/Development entities etc. to ensure seamless transfer of knowledge between disciplines.
 Confident and able to provide sound technical advice to various entities when necessary.
 Confident and able to work under own initiative.
 Ability to gain respect whilst working within a multicultural environment.
 Can work under pressure within ethical boundaries.
 Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and Contractors.
 Provide summary reports to the project team and maintain regular contact with line manager.
 Provision of daily summary report, weekly report input and monthly report inputs to line manager.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System
 Take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of Others who may be affected by their acts at work
 Know responsibilities to environmental issues in the work areas
 Each employee, at his level of responsibility, must observe all Company Rules, Procedures and instructions in the performance of his own task
As such his duties and areas of authority are:
 Follow HSE instructions given by Managers and supervisory personnel
 Assure of the safety of his work site before commencing work
 Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
 Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
 Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
 Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
 Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
 Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
 Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
 Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans

Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor Degree in Technical Field (Oil & Gas field is preferable)
 Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages, Russian language recommended
 Significant experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas, Topsides/Jackets construction, fabrication and Installation projects.
 Minimum 7 years practical Oil & Gas Engineering/Quality/Construction experience.
 Experienced in Quality Management System.
 Competent at writing Engineering/Quality/Construction procedures, method statements , guidelines in line with general specifications and standards.
 Piping / Structural / Civil fabrication background and Engineering/ Quality / Construction experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
 Familiar with basic inspection/engineering criteria applicable to other disciplines, e.g. E&I, mechanical, architectural, HVAC, painting, insulation.
 Having job experience with international standards, e.g. API / ANSI / ASME / ASTM / BSI / DNV / EN / IEC / ISO / NACE / etc.
