JOB DIMENSIONS / CONTEXT

Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is an early development phase to target a first gas production mid-2022.
The Full Field Development studies have started based on the promising results of EPS well ABD001.
JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum is a new Company created in March 2018, which is the Operator of
Absheron from August 2018.
Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.
EPS Project technical data:
152Mscf/d of gas, 12kbbl/d of condensate; production from 1 subsea well, 34km multiphase flowline, dedicated new platform installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR); WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.

ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job holder’s overall responsibility is monitoring all NDT activities related to the Fabrication, Construction, Installation and Hook￾up of the Oil Rocks Receiving Facilities.
The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, to the Company
Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility. He shall respect the JOCAP Code of Conduct and Maintain ethical culture at the workplace.
 Review the applicable NDT activity compatibility of the Absheron EPS Project requirements.
 Maintain departmental project NDT files so that information is readily available to other department members.
 Have working knowledge of design, manufacture, metallurgy, welding and codes associated with fabrication and construction
of plant and equipment.
 Liaison with Offshore and Onshore team Welding Inspector, Coating Inspector, PVV Specialist, Structural Specialist, E&I
specialist and etc. to ensure seamless transfer of QC records and knowledge transfer between disciplines.
 Perform Surveillance duties on onshore fabrications and Offshore, assemblies, NDT components and structures to project
stipulated procedures, specifications and noted standards.
 Direction, Monitoring and guidance of Contractors NDT inspection personnel during Offshore campaign of EPS Project.
 Monitoring of the continuous accurate QC records maintenance by Contractor’s NDT inspection personnel.
 Examine structures or pipelines using non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques. Selects, calibrates, and operates equipment
used in nondestructive testing of products and materials.
 Document non-destructive testing methods, processes, and / or results in conformance with approved procedures.
 Support NDT investigations, perform inspections and conduct surveillances.
 Confident and able to work under own initiative.
 Ability to gain respect whilst working within a multicultural environment.
 Can work under pressure within ethical boundaries.
 Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and Contractor.
 Provide summary reports to the project team and maintain regular contact with line manager.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System
 Take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of Others who may be affected by their acts at work
 Know responsibilities to environmental issues in the work areas
 Each employee, at his level of responsibility, must observe all Company Rules, Procedures and instructions in the performance of his own task
As such his duties and areas of authority are:
 Follow HSE instructions given by Managers and supervisory personnel
 Assure of the safety of his work site before commencing work
 Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
 Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
 Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
 Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
 Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
 Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
 Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
 Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans

Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor Degree in Technical Field (Oil & Gas field is preferable).
 Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages, Russian language recommended.
 CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certificate, Level II in RT, UT, PT, MT according to CSWIP, PCN or ISO 9712 (EN 473) personnel qualification standards , CSWIP ISO 9712 LEVEL2 PHASED ARRAY.
 Significant experience in a similar role on Topsides/Jackets construction, fabrication and Installation projects with a proven background on delivery.
 Minimum 10 years practical NDT/Welding inspection experience (Offshore experience is mandatory).
 Be fully conversant with the requirements of the standards EEMUA 158, ASME B31.3 and API 1104.
 Conversant with relevant ASME standards, piping specifications, valve and equipment datasheets, and piping installation and pressure testing procedures
 Trained and experienced for Offshore Scope
