PASHA Technology is pleased to announce HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, AirConditioning) Engineer position.

Location: Data Center

Work Schedule: Full time 8/5

Salary: Negotiable

Main responsibilities:

• Work with internal teams to trouble shoot problems and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) for design related problems
• Implement and manage operating, maintenance, and repair programs to assure maximum life and reliability of all mechanical systems within the property and according Tier-III standards.
• Oversee and participate in general maintenance and operation processes, which include, but are not limited to:
- HVAC equipment performance
- Plumbing systems
- Equipment warranties
- General building maintenance
• Procure parts and supplies consistent with management approval and defined physical needs.
• Administer necessary inventory control programs and systems to assure maintenance of parts inventory levels, including keying systems and accurate and timely records of receipts and issues.
• Work on concurrent operations in both geographical regions (Baku and Goychay)
• Hands-on ability to operate the infrastructure of a modern data centers, including cooling, maintenance operations, and building management systems.
• Ability to perform and deeply understand all common cooling calculations
• Experience managing contractors, maintenance contracts, and other vendor activities
• Experience working with maintenance management systems, especially in a data center context
• Experience developing SOPs, MOPs, work plans, maintenance manuals, or other operational documentation
• Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and produce engineering documents such as Working Instructions and Sequence of Operations documents.
• Experience with CRAC and CRAH systems
• Experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) as a plus
• Licenses, certifications, or hands-on skills in control systems, HVAC and related fields
• Troubleshoot and establish corrective actions, generate reports
• Conduct regular analyses and audits of electrical system utilization.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks
• Develop effective measurements and reports from BMS and other monitoring systems to increase performance and reliability.
• Evaluate systems to perform effective and efficient load management and capacity planning.
• Monitor, trend, and develop engineering metrics and statistical data for strategic planning.
• Evaluate facility processes and industry best practices to drive efficiencies and effectiveness.
• To actively support colleagues and team members in BaU (Business as Usual) operations
• To proactive predict and eliminate of faults
• To be responsible for managing the provision of high quality managed support services to mission critical environments, in line with Service Level Agreements and customer expectations
• To ensure development of and adherence to processes and policies: ITIL, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Desk Management, Change Management, Operations Monitoring & Performance Reporting
• To be responsible for ensuring consistent execution of processes and on-going improvement
• To formally report on incidents to stakeholders, defects/faults happened and workaround/fixes implemented

Experience:

• 4+ years professional experience in data center/mission critical design, construction, operations, and maintenance.
• Understanding of critical Data Center equipment
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications
• Organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget
• Possess problem solving skills
• Ability to carry design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/mass production
• Ability to produce analyses that ensure designs satisfy defined requirements, including predicted performance and power quality specifications
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards
• Have fluent knowledge of continuous operating redundant cooling systems, air flow containment systems and building management systems.
• Basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers (Including but not limited to: uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers [air-cooled and water-cooled], pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, air economizers, etc...)
• BMS/SCADA Controls system experience (software and/or hardware)
• Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards, including familiarity of ASHRAE TC9.9, NFPA-75/76, TIA-942
• Possess trouble shooting, analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Cross-discipline knowledge of complete critical facility systems such as electrical power distribution and life safety systems.
• Experience with Schneider Electric, CAT as a plus
• Experience driving complex projects under pressure.

Minimum qualifications, Experience & Skills required:

• University degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or science is preferred
• MEP certifications
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Visio software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and tools
• Working knowledge of BMS and DCIM systems
• Experience in IT/Networking systems as a plus
• Experience in programming languages (Python, etc) as a plus
• Knowledge in Datacenters environment and Tier standards
