Job Title: Rope Access Level 3 (Electrical & Instrumentation background)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the followings:

 Liaising with client, representing middle man between client, company and team
 Evaluating, planning and risk assessing the works prior to performing the task at hand
 Representing team leader and supervising teams carrying out various scopes of work
 Overseeing all rope access equipment, rigging and being in charge of all safety aspects of the various jobs
 Capable of carrying out any rope access rescue from any situation whether it be at a height or confined spaces
 Writing up risk assessment, rescue plans and method statements
 Following IRATA written practice as well as company procedure
 Communicating and coordinating with project managers and customers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;
 Assisting rope access personnel to ensure operational efficiency with the implementation of the appropriate standards of safety and quality control in rope access activities, according to the company procedures
 Seeking to continually improve existing safe systems and methods of work;
 Maintaining contact with existing and potential customers and establishing close relationships with them in order to promote the company’s interests;
 Maintaining the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is kept up to date
 All relevant paper work in the Rope Access work pack to be read, completed, signed and sent back to operations on completion of the project;
 Ensuring that existing and potential clients are kept informed of advancements to rope access services;
 Attending client meetings during the task planning or organizing period;
 Ensuring quality standards are maintained so that quality of service meets the necessary standards;
 Complying with all Company and National legislative requirements, HSE and QA Management Systems;
 Maintaining Log Book as per company and IRATA Requirements;
 Carrying out works in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems;
 Undertaking specific projects as instructed by management;
 Assisting with any other duties as and when required.
 Interpreting or evaluating test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications or procedures;
 Ensuring any equipment used is calibrated where required and fit for purpose prior to use;
 Providing detailed and accurate reporting to customer upon completion of inspection;
 Conveying any issues regarding the inspection to the customer, i.e. disposition and quality rejects;
 Ensuring that all customer requirements are carried out with the relevant QA & HSE documentation completed as appropriate;
 Attending HSE meetings where possible.
 Complying with Company Procedures and Health, Safety & Environmental Rules and reporting to the Employer any circumstance that affects or may affect the Health, Safety, Environment or the Employee’ performance, which may as well include working conditions.

Education/Experience and Qualification:

 High school diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
 Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
 Knowledge and understanding of relevant Local Legislation (Labour Code, etc), policies and procedures;
 Understanding of the country cultural and political environment;
 Experience with ISO 9001 requirements;
 Experience with OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements;
 Computer skills including the spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e-mail;
 Fluent in English and Azerbaijani language;
 IRATA Certification
