Job Title: Rope Access Level 1 Complex Certified Electrical Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to the followings:

 Responsible for inspections of rope access equipment issued to them to use. Assisting in rigging of rope access equipment and non-standard operations under the guidance of Level 3
 Performing a limited range of tasks under the supervision of an IRATA approved Level 3 Supervisor, including but not limited to:
 Inspection and use of associated height work safety equipment
 Safe use of hand and power tools
 Correct use and making of rope knots, hitches, bends and splices
 Safe and correct use, inspection and maintenance of Fall Arrest equipment
 Complying with all Company and National legislative requirements, HSE and QA Management Systems
 Maintaining Log Book as per company and IRATA Requirements
 Responsible for carrying out work activities in accordance with specific work instructions and client’s permit to work requirements
 Responsible for day to day liaison with client's on-site staff
 Responsible for carrying out work activities in compliance with the company management system requirements
 Responsible for carrying out work activities in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and client management system requirements, including training
 Responsible for actively contributing to Task Specific Toolbox Talks and Risk Assessment activities
 Responsible for advising the company on-site Charge-hand of any site modifications relevant to the assigned work scope, including marking up 'As Built' drawings
 Responsible for carrying out ad-hoc duties as requested by company management
 Responsible for timely submission of client and/or company 'approved' timesheets

Education/Experience and Qualification:

 High school diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
 IRATA approved Rope Access Level 1 Assessment
 COMPEX Ex01 to Ex04 (desirable)
 Offshore Survival (BOSIET)
 Experience in a similar position, within Oil & Gas Industry is preferred
 Previous offshore Electrical and Rope Access/Height Experience is desirable
 Post apprenticeship work in an industrial environment
 Good Command of English and Azerbaijani
