Direct Report to: CEO
A group of companies with assets in FMCG and Retail is hiring a CFO for one of its group entities. The position is based in Baku and offers a competitive salary.
General
• Manage and develop team of 5 – 10 people.
• Provide accurate reporting of financial results and manage the company’s financial affairs.
Key Duties
• Manage the financial reporting for the organisation, including internal and statutory reporting.
• Provide financial support and insights to CEO.
• Manage and oversee the taxation affairs of the company.
• Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company and ensure it has the appropriate treasury controls.
• Manage the external auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards.
• Investment appraisal and analysis.
• Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff.
• Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place.
• Advise and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Manage and track budget and accounting information.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
• Qualified accountant and/or MBA/Master in Finance
• Ten or more years of relevant experience
• Communication and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of IFRS
Languages
• Azerbaijani and English
• Russian is an advantage
