Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

• Producing proposals and respond to tenders based on specs and price.
• Processing contracts.
• Placing orders to international manufacturers.
• Organizing order logistics.
• Monitoring final install.
• Managing acceptance and final payment by client.

Skills

• Ability to read drawings and layouts is required with basic knowledge of AutoCAD functions as a benefit.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to details and focused approach to order management are essential.
• Language skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent) and Russian (fluent).
• Good control of Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Personal skills: Attentive to details, Negotiation skills, Team worker

Candidates will also benefit from previous experience in interior design, sales, logistics and procurement. Interior design, decorative materials and furniture must be of interest to do this work well.

Sample case study: large private bank (Client) is looking to renovate or relocate its offices and is approaching Workplace Interiors to solicit proposals for office furniture and carpet tiles. Order Manager is to meet with Client, understand specific needs and requirements, liaise with Client’s design team, if involved, or to work closely with Workplace Interiors space planners to determine design and material requirements and prepare proposals based on collected information and Client’s vision. Upon acceptance of the proposal finalize order details and place orders with various manufacturers that were included in the proposal, agree dispatch dates, facilitate payments with accounting team, organize international logistics via transportation agents, ensure paper work for customs purposed and monitor custom clearance, local delivery and installation to be done by Workplace Interiors domestics logistics and installation team.
