Position: Anti-Corrosion Coatings Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Production Manager in daily coating activities;
• Ensure plant equipment is in working condition and planned maintenance is carrying out;
• Accurately and consistently document all coating process data and performed tasks;
• Be aware about coating specification requirements and materials data sheets;
• Contribute to a safe working environment by safely operating all equipment and tools, and by identifying and reporting all situations that pose a safety or health risk;
• Support in the identification of the hazards involved in work activities and evaluates the risks;
• Assists in the selection of the competent personnel and suitably trained personnel for the scheduled and non-scheduled work tasks, including maintenance, repair and modification of equipment;
• Ensure that there is the permit to work in place before commencement of the above activities;
• Control and verify Anti-Corrosion Coatings plant’s production planning schedule;
• Ensure plant equipment and planned maintenance schedules for implementation of installation strategy according to HSE requirements;
• Program routine checks of all plant equipment;
• Interface with Warehouse department on stock levels of raw materials, mechanical spares, etc.;
• Maintain direct interface with related persons for the scheduled maintenance runs;
• Participate in developing necessary Risk Assessments for all tasks and ensure Toolbox talks are conducted daily;
• Participate in daily production/progress meetings;
• Maintain constant internal production/quality monitoring;

Requirements for the Candidate:

• Higher Education (preferably on Technical or Chemical field);
• Having coating or painting inspection certification from NACE, ICorr or BGAS;
• Awareness about steel surface preparation requirements and technics;
• Experience in pipeline construction would be an advantage;
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills;
• Familiarity with root cause analysis for problem resolution techniques;
• Must be able to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
• Relevant work experience – minimum 5 year (preferably in the Coating/Painting/Blasting);
• Fluency in Azeri, good in English / Russian;
• Computer skills;
