Job Title: Instrumentation Site Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Define and Implement Scope of Work
• Coordinate and implement the Project Baseline schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager
• Assist Project Manager with Project Closeout Schedule with Material take offs and Submittal Review
• Provide Progress Report with Three-Week Look-Ahead Schedule to the Project Manager and field staff
• Provide Project manager with daily site reports including instrumentation work in progress jobsite project progress, receiving slips for material received rental equipment utilization
• Assist Project Manager to prepare Variation Orders for the delays or activities which are attributable to Client
• Schedule, monitor, and control the day-to-day- execution of the instrumentation works, progress and performance of the project
• Ensure the instrumentation installation is carried out in accordance with design drawings and specifications
• Work with Instrumentation Engineers and site team to prepare material requests within the framework of cooperation with PSCM department survey quantities and measure actual works done
• Define all site needs to take prompt action in time ,also, order materials in time to avoid causing delay in project
• Inspection of installed plant and documentation prior to setting to work and commissioning;
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Drive the installation, testing and certification of all aspects of the instrumentation installation
• Record all inspection and test results on relevant certificates
• Supervise and mentor field personnel and assist in achieving all project KPI`s
• Plan in detail site activities, to ensure these activities are executed in a safe and timely way
• Co-ordinate & liaise with suppliers, client, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams
• Maintain a daily Superintendent Log, tracking day to day activities, delays, project issues, etc.
• Create a clear execution installation plan, including planning job task labor, and material deliveries
• Oversee personnel administration (field staff), including daily timesheets, performance reviews, attendance and time off requests
• Responsible for the review of instrumentation detail within the method statements and risk assessments and ensuring that ‘Toolbox talks’ are being effectively delivered regularly and the topics are relevant to the project
• Ensure all health and safety documentation is in place, is appropriate, communicated and amended when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering
• Skilled field superintendent with at least 8 years of experience managing crews and running industrial construction projects.
• Soft Skills ( MS Offiice, AutoCAD)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiar with reading Instrumentation drawings such as Single Line Diagrams, Wiring & Loop Diagrams, Cable Route, Earthing and Lightning Layouts, Cable & Load Lists etc.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills

• Hawke Gland and Termination certificate
