Sales Manager

ULU Hospitality is a newly established, yet fast-growing company, dedicated to creating a distinct impact on the hospitality industry of Azerbaijan. At present, the company operates 2 hotels in Qakh region and 2 restaurants in Baku.

El Resort first five-star family hotel, open since 2011 and Yurd Hotel planned to be open in 2019. Zakura the first Japanese “Izakaya” style restaurant located in the city center of Baku and Novbahar authentic restaurant, offering traditional Azerbaijani cuisine.

Job brief

• As a Sales manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
• Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
• Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
• Achieving sales targets
• Develop positive relationships with clients
• Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
• Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase
• Report on the status of accounts and transactions
• Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
• Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
• Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
• Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
• Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
• Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
• Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
• Attend Sales events, as required
• Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
• Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
• Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures

•  Graduate degree – preference given to Sales, Marketing or business-related degrees
•  Knowledge of MS Office essential;
•  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing
•  Working experience in hotel in general advantageous
•  Experienced and comfortable communicating with potential clients
•  Excellent IT skills, including word-processing and presentations
•  Strong social  skills and  ability to build business contacts
•  Seeking to build long-term career with ULU Hospitality
