JOB TITLE:  PAYROLL/HR OFFICER

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Produce monthly payroll for 600 personnel
• Ensure that the calculation of earnings and deductions are accurate and completed in a timely manner
• To identify area’s to improve accuracy, efficiency and analysis within payroll management;
• Responsible for submitting reports (monthly, quarterly and annually) are filed timely and accurately, to Labor, Social Fund Protection and Tax Departments.
• To update personnel database
• Calculate staff sick leaves and upload in electron portal for payments by Social Protection Fund
• Ensure paychecks are correct and delivered on time
• Responsible for pre-audit and year end financials preparation
• Provide any update related to changes in payroll calculations mode
• To provide any assistance to HR personnel if required
• Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education
• Min 5 years of payroll experience;
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
• Knowledge of tax and labor laws and general accounting practices;
• Understanding of payroll principles/systems.
• Knowledge of payroll systems is a requirement
• Good communication & organization skills 
• Ability to use spreadsheets to analyze data and spot trends
• Understanding of customer segmentation
