Electrical Engineer

The profile we are looking for is someone who has previous offshore experience onboard Cargo ships or other marine vessels and/or someone with experience at mechanical / Industrial / Service workshops.

Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)

Education: Technical education  

Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in ship construction and maintenance activities

Knowledge of Languages: English (good), Azerbaijani (fluent)    

Other Skills/Certificates Required: 

 Possess ample knowledge and experience in electrical equipment on-board vessels.

Responsibilities:

 Plan and implement the electrical maintenance;
 Monitor and ensure control of electrical equipment according to safety procedures;
 Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose vessels upgrade and maintenance schedule;
 Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity;
 Respect of HSE and Quality procedures and practices;
 Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices;
 Ensure the efficiency of the electrical equipment;
 Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
 Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior within his/her technical capabilities.
