Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is Azerbaijan’s national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the management of the "Holiday in Azerbaijan" brand, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.

The Brand and Marketing Department is responsible for the international market communications of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board. Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing the marketing plan of ATB. Work involves marketing Azerbaijan to stimulate economic development and promote tourism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the development of brand and product marketing initiatives through cross functional programs that elevate positioning, engage customers and enhance the commercial objectives.
• Collaborate closely with research team to identity traffic and sales trends year over year including brand tracker KPI’s, tourism data and CRM metrics to analyze marketing effectiveness, maximize ROI and optimize planning.
• Build customized marketing calendars for offline and on digital channels
• Align brand marketing calendar with marketing activities to support elevation strategies and maximize ROI
• Implement cooperative advertising programs integrating the tourism related segments
• Promote attractions & community events to potential travelers
• Contribute to and monitor the flow of web content. Coordinate and create a bi-monthly report on the effectiveness of the website.
• Undertake the development of national tourism campaign; establish regional tourism engagement activities
• Gather data and prepare annual tourism situational analysis for the ATB
• Attend meeting, seminars, conventions, and workshops to further knowledge, stay informed of the changes in the tourism industry, and exchange information.
• Design, develop and guide in-service training programs for staff volunteers.
• Prepare monthly reports on ad negotiations and placements, basic inquiry data and creative initiatives. Keep updated advertising history files and archives ad materials. Collect necessary and pertinent travel research and reports findings. 

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

• Knowledge of Azerbaijan and tourism industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Azerbaijani and English
• 5+ years of Marketing experience on managerial level
• Computer literate
• Analytical skills
• Proven supervisory experience and leadership skills a must.
