Position: Quality assurance assistant
Job Role Responsibilities:
Tracking of quality records, analysing and reporting
Documentation management: creation, publication, implementation and keeping it update
Implement and maintain company quality assurance objectives
Assist with enforcing quality assurance procedures, food safety policy and personnel hygiene instructions
Responsible for inspections of stores and warehouse when needed
Responsible for checks of customer complaints, returned product. Verify and communicate to appropriate departments any findings as relate to food safety and/or quality issues
Tracking the periodical quality control testing of private label products
Assist with preparation for any and all food safety audits
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Position Qualification
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or a related technical field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience at food service is preferred
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Creative, adaptable and able to accurately handle out of the ordinary issues with a sense of urgency
- Strong ability to lead a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced IT skills
- English is required
