VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
An SAT instructor for Dərs Evi KCEP is a dynamic and engaging presenter, who possess the ability to motivate others.
In this leadership role, the instructor will provide exceptional instruction, student mentorship, and subject matter expertise on all sections of the exam.
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Our requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
• Appropriate teaching certifications when teaching courses regulated by a licensing body or certifying authority
• Previous teaching or training experience
• At least 3 years of documented experience working or teaching in a related field
• Excellent Office programs skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of SAT test preparation strategies
• Strong SAT scores in content areas
• Strong academic history (1-3 years of experience) and the ability to support the academic development of high school students
• Proven track record of improving SAT scores, from a baseline, by at least 200 points
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and computer literacy
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Seek to work with a diverse staff and student population
• Enthusiasm, creativity and initiative
Duties
• Teaches SAT Test Prep courses at a variety of times
• Submits required department reports and forms in a timely manner
• Develops a course syllabus for each course together with curriculum lead and follows established institutional guidelines
• Develops materials for teaching course
• Works closely with marketing and sales for product communication
• Meets with and advises students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods
• Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress
• Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
• Attends meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
• Organizes meetings on academic and professional issues aligned with Teach Lead and Team Lead
• Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned by Teach Lead and Project coordinator
• Attends professional trainings and workshops assigned my Project Coordinator
