Project Risk Assessment Manager (Oil & Gas Industry)

Purpose / Role

We are looking for a Project Risk Assessment Manager to join our growing team, who will plan, coordinate and document the project risk management processes, using strong facilitation skills to ensure that risks are identified, evaluated, mitigated and monitored following corporate policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Coordinate the project risk assessment process and prepare risk management plans according to the international and local standards;
• Implement risk assessment activities in compliance with best business practice and corporate procedures;
• Utilize corporate risk assessment systems and tools to support processes;
• Lead risk identification workshops with multiple levels of the organization;
• Conduct risk evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods;
• Work with management to develop problem solving risk mitigation;
• Partner with project teams to monitor risk mitigations;
• Work closely with planners to understand delivery expectations, identify potential risks and link risks to schedule activities;
• Maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and current;
• Facilitate identification, assessment and prioritization of risks, opportunities;
• Maintain visibility of risk/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of risk / opportunity;
• Managing project budgets to ensure positive cost and performance outcomes;
• Work with the Management to ensure regulatory or legislative project related risks and control gaps are identified and appropriate action plans are in place;
• Monitor overall risk exposure from the Risk Register and assess against the remaining Risk budget;
• Proactively manage the completion of management responses to help deliver target positions;
• Produce risk based reports as required in a timely manner to support the effective communication of risk & opportunity status.

Qualifications:

• +7 years of experience in risk management and +7 years of combined experience in Project Risk Assessment in Oil & Gas Industry;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English ;
• Experience working with Primavera risk analysis (PRA) ;
• Analytical and problem solving skills;
• Excellent working knowledge of key risk areas;

Job type: full-time

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
