Vacancy: GRBS - Study Abroad / Business Unit Manager (Xaricdə təhsil / Rəhbər)

Requirements:

o Educated minimum to bachelor's degree. Master’s degree level or equivalent is desirable.
o Fluent in English and Russian.
o Demonstrated skill in managing business activities in a customer facing multinational company.
o Experience in developing business plans, budgets and skills to monitor, review and report on progress.
o Proven ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve demonstrable outcomes.
o Practical experience in managing diverse stakeholders (clients & students) – with diverse interests – to their satisfaction, but always keeping to the ultimate goal of the organisation.
o Ability to proactively identify, analyse and solve problems effectively.
o Excellent presentation and communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
o Customer focussed, with a passion for providing outstanding service.
o Strong interpersonal skills.
o Experience of working in international education sector (desirable).
o Experience in working with CRM systems (desirable).

Responsibilities:

o Develop a strong counselling / sales team and oversee the creation of a dynamic, inclusive work place, building the culture while recognising and celebrating innovation, success and achievement.
o Build a performance driven culture and ensure transparent evaluation of team members’ performance against predefined specific objectives.
o Develop the destination knowledge and market understanding of team members to support increased performance outcomes.
o Drive the development and implementation of office based business plans which address country needs and are aligned to GRBS’s strategic milestones.
o Improve business performance by identifying and maximising opportunities for leverage across offices of knowledge, skills and infrastructure.
o Ensure that all GRBS systems and tools are effectively implemented and used as intended to support local business operations.
o Develop and maintain a strong sales and service culture within the business.
o Identify, develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives for the business unit. Monitor results and initiate corrective action where required.
o Establish best practice frameworks and mechanisms to enhance sales performance.
o Where required, represent GRBS in forums and events of regional/global significance (eg: AIEC, Going Global etc).
o Speedily determine when an issue needs to be escalated to supervisor for resolution.
o Proactively provide timely feedback and advice to the Supervisor on the management of offices and on issues arising from competitor activities, changing business environments, change in student visa policies etc.
o Integrate compliance requirements into staff performance appraisals and annual objectives.

Work graphic – 5 days in a week full graphic (09:00-18:00), Saturday half-time  (10:00-15:00)
Salary – high salary, by agreement (min. 800 AZN)
