HAZID, HAZOP Team Leader
 
Purpose:

Support project by providing guidance on HAZOP, HAZID, PHA, LOPA procedures on detailed engineering design stage and performing safety reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and executing process safety activities and deliverables including HSE Philosophies, HSE Plans, consequence modeling, HAZOP, HAZID and SIL;
• Provide Process Safety Engineering support to the project at detailed engineering design stage;
• Project safety reviews such as electrical area classification, fire hazard zone drawings, safety relief and flare calculations, facility siting studies;
• Complete process safety reviews and develop recommendations for addressing process safety issues;
• Provide risk assessment through the use of risk analysis techniques and tools;
• Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes;
• Conduct optimization/sizing evaluation for protection of process equipment;
• Provision of advanced expert advice on optimal protection system by reviewing the operation, performance and layers of protection concept;

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil and gas industry;
• Experience within an engineering contractor or consultancy, operator, or other relevant organization;
• Experience of working in the process industry and energy, oil and gas, refining and petrochemical sectors;
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk analyses and assessment methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) requirements and methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of Facility Siting and Human Factors requirements;
• Knowledge of various Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices related to process safety/Familiar with Facility Siting and Human Factors requirements;
• Strong knowledge Process Safety Information forms (PSI), how PSI is used in operating facilities, and how it should be maintained;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD;
• Knowledge of various Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) related to process safety. An understanding of how dispersion, fire and explosion modeling is used;
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills; able to communicate clearly and precisely with team members;

Job type: full-time

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 am – 17:30pm, 5 working days a week.
