Shamakhi Palace Sharadil is looking for candidate for the position Cost Controller.

Responsibilities:

Examines all food and beverage invoices, verifying quantities ordered and received against the food order sheets and purchase orders

• Ensures that all items requisitioned are properly accounted for by observing the requisitioning process
• Reviews total food and beverage requisitions for pricing and extension accuracy
• Maintains costs percentages on a monthly basis for both food and beverage and prepares a report
• Prices and extends all monthly food and beverage inventories
• Debits miscellaneous food cost deductions to proper ledger accounts and credits food and beverage cost accounts so that both sides balance
• Prepares cost breakdowns of food and beverage
• Reviews daily food production as it relates to cover forecasts to see that it is according to plan
• Fully understand operation of Purchasing department, and all procedures of internal control in the Hotel
• Ensure that all orders for Purchasing department are in compliance with Hotel policies and procedures
• Control level of stock for each stockroom, and to prepare analysis of slow moving items
• Daily to check report of received goods and supporting documentation
• Check that procedure and time frames for issuing goods are being followed
• Regularly check reports for issued goods and to determine that all orders are correctly posted
• Make sure that equipment in Purchasing department (e.g. scales for measuring goods) is in proper condition and that is being used properly
• Prepare reports for Food and Beverage cost on a weekly basis and to deliver it to Management of the Hotel
• Perform inventory count on a monthly basis and to inform DOF about all discrepancies that have been found

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor degree in Economical field
• Minimum 1-year experience as a Cost Controller
• Hospitality experience is required
• Excellent written and spoken English, Russian and Azerbaijani languages
• Motivated personality, ambitious to learn about business

• Transfer from-to Baku while day offs
• 5 working days per week during Low season, 6 working days per week during high season
