Data Processor

Work Location: Base Office (30 km away from the city centre)

Education: Higher education;
Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Survey Data Processor/Analyst within oil & gas industry;
Knowledge of Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent).

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

Knowledge of Geodesy, Hydrography and Marine Ecosystem;
Understanding of the main features of the materials to be treated;
Capability to use Geo Software and Report Writing;
Knowledge and understanding of HSE procedures and Project requirements for all project phases;
Good team-working, communication skills and ability of taking initiative; 
Knowledge of Subsea Intervention Work Stability, Subsea Inspection Methods, ROV Instrumentation and Operations;
Proficiency in standard software for PC such as MS Office.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for managing data processing in an efficient manner to ensure timely production of deliverables with due regard to operational requirements such as sea line construction, dimensional controls at yards and offshore at platform and, in general, at emerged structures;
• Be responsible for the preparation and checking of project data-bases and background files, including updates when necessary, ensuring the latest version is in use onboard or ashore;
• Ensure adherence to QC procedures;
• Assist surveyor in carrying out the sensor calibration;
• Ensure digital and physical survey data is stored in an appropriate manner, including backups if required, in accordance with Company Criteria Corporate and Project Procedures;
• Ensure the correct implementation of project geodetic parameters in processing and charting routines;
• Liaise with the Party Chief and maintain processing logs in order to be able to provide an assessment of progress and to highlight potential problems as early as possible, including the need for re-runs;
• Liaise with the office based Survey Coordinator;
• Maintain sufficient records to enable an audit of survey data to take place from acquisition to the finished processed product;
• Provide a final project report detailing all problems encountered and solutions found (lesson learned);
• Plan processing work flows;
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the Data Processing team and support the Party Chief;
• Perform Risk Assessments and tool box talks in the course of day-to-day activities and when required by the Party Chief or Vessel Superintendent.
