The International School of Azerbaijan, more commonly known as TISA, was founded in 1996. The school aims to prepare students to be independent, life-long learners and to acquire the problem-solving skills and knowledge necessary for educational success. Currently we are looking for a Primary School Learning Support (LS) Teacher to start in August 2018.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting students with varied learning needs
- Collaboration with the LS team and class teachers
- Development and implementation of Individual Education Plans
- Assessment, recording and reporting
- Other general professional requirements as per job description

Essential Characteristics

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent personal levels of English language
- Formal Teaching Qualification
- Experience and training in supporting students with Special Educational Needs

Desired Characteristics

- Experience of working in an international school
- Experience with the IB PYP
