Workplace Interiors LLC looking for candidates to fill the position of Draftsman (Temporary Job)

Key responsibilities:

• Perform design work and calculations.
• Perform drafting/ preliminary drawings for sophisticated drawings.
• Prepare Plan Progress Schedule and monitor the progress of drawings.
• Check the correctness of drawings.
• Ensure compliance to rules and regulations of classification societies/ government regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Obtain relevant information from vendors and subcontractors.
• Liaise with other Engineering sections on drafting matters.
• Seek new ideas/ solutions to improve the current designs, work methods and procedures.
• Direct and guide the activities of subordinates assigned to him.
• Manage the career development and training of subordinates.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Certification (Drafting)
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Fit out and Interiors
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team.
• Detailed and meticulous.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tribon, Gems, Plant Design System, Microstation (Advantage).
