Lifting Inspection Engineer
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out all on & off-site work as instructed by the works supervisor or the operations manager or coordinator;
To have overall charge of the job task;
To ensure that all customer requirements are carried out on site with the relevant QA and HSE paperwork completed as appropriate;
To be the H&S representative for your task and for anyone effected by your task including assistants;
To follow work order instructions;
To assist and assess jobs as per operations manager/coordinator requests;
Upon job completion where applicable - insure Company testing equipment is prepare for collection daily;
To carry out load testing and or inspections and repairs of lifting, pulling, securing, transporting and general equipment;
To carry out inspections of lifting accessories in accordance with “L.O.L.E.R”;
To carry out load testing and or inspections of fixed lifting equipment (swing jibs, EOTC, Davits, runway beams etc);
To liaison with the operations department on the method’s and requirements of each job;
To check that the equipment to be used is fit for use and assembled in the right manner and that the correctly equipment for the job has been assembled and taken to site;
To take charge of assistants/helpers and be responsible for their time and actions;
To complete Company paper work i.e. certificates and time sheets, etc.;
To liaison with the customer on site when arriving to site and when leaving;
To go offshore or out of the country when required;
The Employee shall comply with Company Procedures and Health, Safety & Environmental Rules and shall report to the Employer any circumstance that affects or may affect the Health, Safety, Environment or the Employee’ performance, which may as well include working conditions.
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Computer skills including the spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e-mail;
Good in Azerbaijani or English or Russian language.
