KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 Client liaising, middle man between client, company and team.
 Evaluate, plan and risk assess jobs prior to performing the task at hand
 Team leader and supervise teams carrying out various scopes of work.
 Oversee all rope access equipment, rigging and in charge of all safety aspects of the various jobs.
 Capable of carrying out any rope access rescue from any situation whether it be at a height or confined spaces.
 Write up risk assessment, rescue plans and method statements.
 Follow IRATA written practice as well as company procedure.
 Anchor selection, access methods and mindful of any potential unforeseeable issues relating directly to the job or equipment.
 Serve as a Rope Access Technician with the duties of an NDT technician as defined by IRATA;
 Communicate and coordinate with project managers and customers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;
 Assist rope access personnel to ensure operational efficiency with the implementation of the appropriate standards of safety and quality control in rope access activities, according to company procedures;
 Seek to continually improve existing safe systems and methods of work;
 Maintain contact with existing and potential customers and establish close relationships with them in order to promote the company’s interests;
 Maintain the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is kept up to date.
 All relevant paper work in the Rope Access work pack to be read, completed, signed and sent back to operations on completion of the project;
 Responsible for inspections of rope access equipment issued to them to use. Assisting in rigging of rope Access equipment and non-standard operations, under the guidance of Level 3. Undertaking a rescue involving descent by themselves and have knowledge of hauling systems;
 Ensure that existing and potential clients are kept informed of advancements to rope access services;
 Attend client meetings during the task planning or organizing period;
 Ensure quality standards are maintained so that quality of service meets the necessary standards;
 Comply with all Company and National legislative requirements, HSE and QA Management Systems;
 Maintain Log Book as per company and IRATA Requirements;
 Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems;
 Undertake specific projects as instructed by management;
 Assist with any other duties as and when required.
 Interpret or evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures;
 Interpret the results of all methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) such as Eddy Current, electromagnetic inspection method, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic and visual testing;
 Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of products or materials;           
 Examine drilling equipment/tools using non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques;
 Identify defects in solid materials using ultrasonic testing techniques;
 Prepare reports on non-destructive testing (NDT) results;
 Conduct liquid penetrant tests to locate surface cracks by coating objects with fluorescent dyes, cleaning excess penetrant, and applying developer;
 Document non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, processes, or results;
 Visually examine materials, structures, or components using tools and equipment such as endoscopes, borescope and closed-circuit television systems for signs of corrosion, metal fatigue, cracks, or other flaws;      
 Supervise or direct the work of non-destructive testing (NDT) trainees or staff;        
 Map the presence of imperfections within objects using sonic measurements;       
 Identify defects in concrete or other building materials using infrared testing. 
 To perform NDT Inspection on bottom hole assembly tools, drillpipe & miscellaneous equipment;
 Perform inspections as per Rigmarine Quality Manual and/or 3rd party and customer requirements;
 To ensure any equipment used is calibrated where required and fit for purpose prior to use;
 To provide detailed and accurate reporting to customer upon completion of inspection;
 To convey any issues regarding inspection to customer, i.e. disposition and quality rejects;
 To ensure that all customer requirements are carried out with the relevant QA & HSE documentation completed as appropriate;
 To attend HSE meetings where possible.
 The Employee shall comply with Company Procedures and Health, Safety & Environmental Rules and shall report to the Employer any circumstance that affects or may affect the Health, Safety, Environment or the Employee’ performance, which may as well include working conditions.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

 Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
 Knowledge and understanding of relevant Local Legislation (Labour Code, etc), policies and procedures;
 Understanding of the country cultural and political environmental;
 High school diploma or University Degree;
 Experience with ISO 9001 requirements;
 Experience with OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements;
 Computer skills including the spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e-mail;
 Fluent in English or Azerbaijani or Russian language;
 IRATA Certification
