Position: Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

- Conducting up-to-date analysis of current payables to contractors;
- Processing documents in electronic form and checking correctness before approval in SPM;
- Preparing documents for approval in paper within Finance area
- Ensuring each document is properly authorized and been prepared according to the contract or PO requirements;
- Coordinating with procurement (POs) and commercial departments (IPCs), ensuring the payment terms and dates are all according the contract;
- Checking historical payments in order to do reconciliation with the accounting department to ensure the payable is accurate;
- Communicating with the contractors to ensure the invoices and acts are sent on a timely basis and to obtain necessary supporting documentation in case of further inquiry, as well as ensuring the important receipts are acknowledged by the counterparties so when there is a problem regarding bank transfer, it can be pursued and solved in a short period;
- Coordinating with the accounting department in order to prevent delays in payments by being an intermediary between the commercial/procurement and accounting departments, providing assistance to chief accountant on his queries for accounting records and how to overcome such issues;
- Coordinating with logistics department to ensure the timely delivarance of documents regarding incoming materials;
- Assisting in the reporting of petty cash transactions and participating in the compilation of HQ financial templates such budgeting, conspacks etc. and providing or coordinating necessary explanation and information regarding HQ's comments or inquries.
- Other ad-hoc assignments by CFO.

Requirements

- University Degree from Finance, Audit or Accounting;
- Work experience in Finance, Audit or Accounting between 1-3 years;
- Pass from ACCA F1-F3 papers is highly preferable;
- Ability to work in the accounting software (1C etc.);
- Good knowledge of local taxation;
- Good command of Microsoft Excel;
- Good command of English;
- Good communication and presentation skills
