Position: Quantity Surveyor
Job Type Full-time
Required work experience: more than 5 years
Job Location: Azerbaijan/Baku
Education: Bachelor
Responsibilities
• Prepare prequalification and tender documents
• Evaluate quotations obtained from different suppliers & subcontractors, ensure quantities and specifications are in line with tender and projects specifications
• Material take off for Tendering and Procurement purposes
• Recalculate costs if the design or material changes
• Make sure the Quality of the work in the site in terms of Proper material usage, proper installation process as per the Approved Shop Drawing
• Negotiation with contractors
• Examine, control and evaluate contractors invoices and ensure the contractual obligations are satisfied
• Prepare bill of quantities, estimates and progress reports
• Verify and certify contractors’ and subcontractors’ applications for payment
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or quantity surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience, general construction estimating experience, or related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
• Skills in reading building plans and estimating building and material costs.
• Knowledge in Primavera, AutoCAD & other software is an advantage.
• Easy adapted person to multinational environment.
• Good communication skills in Azeri and English.
