Code Academy invites professional software developers to apply for an instructor position. Our Software Development course has an intensive and western approach to grow junior software developers from scratch in optimal period. As we grow fast, we need more extraordinary professionals passionate about teaching programming and growing software developers in Azerbaijan. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Commitment to teaching and mentoring students;
• Teaching according to Code Academy curriculum methods and principles;
• Providing quality instruction including stimulating analytical and critical thinking;
• Providing meaningful and timely feedback on student assignments;
• The teaching workload is minimum 1 group, maximum 3 groups per week according to types of employment;
• Prepare  final project functional and technical requirements for students to support their graduation process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Understanding of programming paradigms;
•  Excellent knowledge of C# and MS-SQL experience in MVC pattern and use of it in an Object Oriented (OOP) development with .NET;
•  Skill for writing reusable C# libraries;
•  Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#;
•  Good knowledge of Git and GitHub;
•  Experience in Azure web services.

THESE ARE PLUSES:

• HTML5, CSS3 (SASS, LESS CSS precompilers) and CSS Frameworks
• Experience in creating responsive cross platform/device-oriented web applications/sites;
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (Object-oriented programming features within JavaScript)
• Good knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks;
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an educator is an asset;
• Candidates having Microsoft certificates;
