Hydraulics Engineer

This job describes the duties Engineer  primarily required to construct, assemble, install, maintain and service hydraulic systems or components and associated precision and general engineering.
The employee is required to consistently work to the highest industry standards to produce competent and efficient work to exceed the employers and customers’ expectations. The work can be carried out in the Company’s workshop, at the clients’ workplace, or in the field as required.

      Engineer is responsible for the supervision and execution of job allotted to his work group;
      Responsible for the effective utilization of manpower, materials, spares, tools and others resources for which they are responsible
      An  Engineer works under the direct command and management of  a Senior and Leading Engineer.
      An Engineer is responsible for checking and testing of certain meters if work is involved in an industrial area..
      He is also responsible in maintaining the optimum performance of a certain engineering system or design, as per direct mandate by the Engineer.

To execute precise engineering proposal computations.

      To devise, organize and ensure engineering arrangements and revisions.
      Report on parts, tools and supplies required to maintain the equipment;
      Carry out piping solutions, equipment installation, pressure testing, flushing and filtration tasks.
      Inspects diesel powered units, hydraulic systems and injection valves and systems
      Dismantle / assemble and testing of Pumps, Motors, Valves, Cylinders, Accumulators and jacks
      Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the leading&senior engineer
      Planning and execution of job as per the completion schedule;
      Identify the requirement of materials and initiate the purchasing in time;
      Systematic recording and documentation of all the works which are being carried out by his group;
      Ensure that technicians and other subordinates perform job following the correct procedures, methods, work instructions, tolls and spares;
      Liaise with the customer representatives to coordinate the job on day today basis;
      Handle creation of job duties and delegate tasks to workers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university;
• 3-5  years experience

PREFFERED

• Diploma in civil or chemical engineering
•  A certified curriculum by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
