Plantation Manager

We need candidates with nowledge of languages, good communication skills, strong agriculture (bitkicilik) background.

Responsibilities:

Directing all the work activities done on a farm
Overseeing the plantation of the crops during plantation season
Plan with engineers the irrigation required for agriculture
Hiring the right farm hands
Should have knowledge of right fertilizers for the crops
Overseeing the harvesting of the crops during harvesting season
Packaging the crops or sale
Making an inventory of the crops and accounting for their sales
Helping the owner with sales of the crop
Hiring help for looking after the cattle
Overseeing the daily harvesting of the animals like milking of the cows etc
Buying of seeds and fertilizers for plantation
Buying the required machinery like tractors and harvesters
Knowing the soil conditions and planning accordingly
Knowing the market conditions and staying up to date on it
Helping the owner expand the business
Innovating new products and manufacturing methods
Maintenance of the books of accounts of the business
Calculation and payment of the taxes on the business
Promote the business and increase the sales of the crop or any other agricultural product made by the farm

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree from an agricultural university
Experience in the agriculture sector
