NOV are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Baku, please see below for job details: 

Job Summary:
 
Manages, develops, and maintains business relationships with existing and potential national and international clients to meet sales objectives. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the organization's business while maximizing profits and market share that will create the highest customer satisfaction in the oil and gas industry.
 
Responsibilities:

• Acts as primary point-of-contact for client
• Leads day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns
• Maintains contact with an established customer base
• Identifies and establishes new clients
• Communicates and strategizes with the sales team on all related client issues for both internal & external sales
• Assists in strategy development
• Proactively finds new ways to build the client's business and grow accounts
• Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
• Monitors agency/client budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness
• Improves customer perception with emphasis on customer service
• Monitors technology performance and reports trends to product centre through periodic reporting or on a case-by-case basis as necessary
• Acts as a focal point for the customer, internal business admiration and operations department of organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in engineering is preferred, but Master's degree is an asset (M.S; M.Eng); or five to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience
• Experience with customer interaction on Technical Level
• Experience in managing accounts and relationships for multiple clients
• Experience in managing project's campaigns, coordinating team members, developing timetables and setting deadlines in order to achieve client objectives
• Product knowledge in the oil and gas industry, specifically all BHA components (Drill Bits, RSS, MWD, Mud Motors, Drilling Jars and Underremers)
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Azerbaijan and Russian
• Experience in running the various drilling related software’s in order to develop the simulation reports or the results that will be presented to the customer.
