Stock Control Assistant

Location: Central warehouse

Department: Stock Department

Direct reports: Stock Control Assistant

Job Role Responsibilities:

 Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
 Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
 Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock
 Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimizing losses
 Assisting in processing deliveries; hanging, ticketing and allocating stock within the warehouse quickly/efficiently;
 Assisting to move stock to stores ; ensuring that the greatest care is taken;
 Keeping the stock in warehouse tidy and well organized;
 Assisting stock management with transfers to other sites;
 Assisting with stock takes;
 Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Position Qualification

Knowledge
 2 years’ experience in stock control
 Bachelor’s degree.
 Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel and Word.
 Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
 Able to multi-task and prioritize.
 Adaptable to change and comfortable within a dynamic organization.

 Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
 Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
 Excellent presentation skills
 Good I.T. understanding
