Role: Training Team Leader

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership by example in all safety and environmental aspects
• Responsible for ensuring the Baku Training Centers adheres to company systems, processes and procedures.
• Responsible for the successful award and maintenance of OPITO accreditations for the EnerMech Baku training facility.
• Provide input and take ownership of Azerbaijan Training budget.
• Support the wider ME/Caspian region when requested by MEC Training Manager.
• Identify new courses which will meet the needs of our customers to a satisfactory standard.
• Ensure delivery of courses maximizes the use of training facilities and trainers as required.
• Market the services of the division in a cost effective manner
• Provide Business Development with the right information to sell the products to clients
• Ensure utilization of trainers and course centers are maximized
• Develop & maintain the systems to ensure all training material meet relevant standards, branding and are stored securely and regularly updated.
• Have a systematic approach to incorporating Regulatory bodies guidance on all minimum standards of delivery and assessment, to ensure courses meet industry and client requirements
• Maintain systems to ensure training and assessments are verified and audited to meet standards and each region has the appropriate accreditations from regulatory bodies in the region
• Develop & Maintain customer relationships.
• Support, mentor and develop new Trainer/Assessors for delivery of EnerMech courses worldwide.
• Develop robust systems for monitoring and maintaining certification to prevent falsification of certificates
• Utilize the CRM system to support clients in developing courses and materials for bespoke courses and ensure appropriate approvals are received
• Maintain and develop the necessary resources to deliver and effective  training service
• Comply to all EnerMech QHSE policies
• To ensure that all lifting equipment on site is certified and certificates are kept in both hard and soft versions
• To maintain Lifting Equipment register up to date
• To ensure that Rigging Loft is fully equipped for Lifting training offered and in tidy condition
• To ensure that Lifting Plans with associated Risk Assessments are available for all lifting training and up to date
• To liaise with the Training Coordinator / Administrator to ensure readiness of equipment and consumable for practical training
• To assist in development, organisation and implementation of Lifting training and programmes

Qualifications:

Essential
• Good knowledge and experience of Training for the Energy industry Worldwide.
• Good understanding of standards, minimum requirements for the industry.
• NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent
• Good commercial knowledge surrounding utilization, planning & course costings.

Preferred
• Understanding of Health & Safety Legislation, Cranes, Lifting, Hydraulics & Mechanical Equipment.
• Certificate in Training Practice or other relevant qualification
• Assessors qualification

Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge:

Essential
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Strong communications skills
• Attention to standards and procedures to ensure course content fit for purpose and compliant with regulatory and industry standards
• Good commercial knowledge
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to travel to other Training Centers to assess and ensure services are delivered
• Ability to translate customer requirements into appropriate courses

Preferred
• Demonstrate the ability to work in different regions
• Technical knowledge/awareness in the provision of Training Services.
