Title: Construction Department Manager

JOB DUTIES

• Lead the Construction business, defining, organizing and supervising the subordinate structure of departments and resources, and defining strategy and targets for each office and each role;
• Drive the selection of and consolidate the relationship with the Partner/s for Construction;
• Develop the construction execution plan verifying and approving the man-hours and cost estimates for construction and construction related (i.e. TSF, camp, field supervision estimate) items;
• Lead the establishment and maintenance of satisfactory relationship with potential or effective subcontractors developing and consolidating the prestige and reputation of the Company and related companies;
• Manage the optimization and harmonization of the field staff cost-wise to get the better performances, promoting the teamwork and sense of belonging of field staff personnel indifferently by fixed pay roll, agency or consultant origins;
• Chair the constructability reviews of each project;
• Make sure to reach the Construction performance targets and defines the weak areas and fix the improvement activities;
• Ensure support to sales & tender department in case of specific technical requirements;
• Take particular attention to the security on Site;
• Take part to periodical Operational meetings and Project review meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
 
• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Civil;
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in Oil and Gas construction field of which increasing responsibility up to Construction Manager level;
• Involvement in a construction project in Russia is a must;
• Knowledge and experience in working with SMETA;
• Fluent in English and Russian;
• Open and innovation mind, technical management, human relation know-how;
• Managing complex issues and International experience are the most important skills that we are looking for.
