SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER

Role synopsis

Azerinteltek CJSC is now looking for an experienced IT professional for the role of Senior System Engineer for further supporting of companies service system. Interested candidates, meeting the below selection criteria, are requested to send their resume to [email protected] by indicating “Senior System Engineer” in the subject of the letter.

Key accountabilities

 Responsible for the operation of a 7/24 internal IT system,
 Responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs,
 Manages server services; hardware, operating systems and databases,
o Windows 7-10, SRV 2008-2012
o Microsoft SQL Server 2008 – 2016 VMware vSphere 5-6 / VCenter
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS
o Backup devices and software; Tape Library / SAN Storage / Veritas Backup Exec
 Administrates Networks by maintaining LAN and WAN availability and security,
o Cisco Networks (Core and floor switches, firewall, AP etc.)
o Cisco Voice (Voice Gateway, Call Manager (CM), Call Center(CCX), Telepresence systems)
 Supports Microsoft platform;
o Active Directory
o Windows Server 2008 - 2012
o Microsoft Exchange 2010 – 2013
o Lync 2010, 2013 - Skype for Business
o Microsoft Office
 Manages end user PC environment and provide support services,
 Manages new installations and updates effectively and on time,
 Controls continuously hardware, software and network equipment, makes reports any failures and takes corrective actions,
 Makes necessary planning, corresponding and documentation for IT Systems,
 Plans and manages upgrade, installation and operations when necessary,
 Updates and revises the documents and procedures,
 Follows up new technologies and offers suitable solutions to be implemented,
 Manages implementation of accepted solutions/projects.
 HTML - HyperText Markup Language and Visual Basic for Applications knowledge is a plus.
 Required Trainings/Certificates :
o CCNA or CCNP
o MCSA or MCSE
o LPIC / LFCS / LFCE (is a plus)
o VCA / VCP (is a plus)
o ITIL Foundation (is a plus)

Essential criteria

 A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field of study (Technical),
 Minimum of 5 years System Engineer experience in a corporate environment,
 Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages: both verbal and written,
 SQL (Structured Query Language) proficient knowledge required.

 Strong Network Knowledge,
 Strong problem solving and analytical skills,
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
