We are looking for a PMC HSE Advisor in our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) project in Baku, Azerbaijan. The tasks consists of supporting and consulting the OWNER in safety matters during the Commissioning and Start-Up phase. The person will for example Manage the Pre Start-Up Safety Review activity, work with Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) matters, review that Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are efficiently in use and review the Task Risk Assessments (TRA) of the selected operations. The main target is to ensure the OWNER interests and target to maximum quality and safety.

The overall project scope in nutshell is to build carbamide (urea) plant close to Baku in Azerbaijan, capable of producing liquid Ammonia (1,200 tons per day) and granulated carbamide (2000 tons per day). Neste Jacobs provides PMC services (Project Management Consultant), the other project stakeholders are SOCAR (Customer) and Samsung Engineering (the EPC contractor).

We require M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree and minimum 15 years of similar experience in the industry, solid experience in large scale international projects, effective English communication skills and strong leadership skills.
