We are looking for a contract based Engineer with experience of Construction and/or Operation of Oil&Gas Plant or similar for high profile position in our project in Baku, Azerbaijan.
 
The overall project scope in nutshell is to build carbamide (urea) plant close to Baku in Azerbaijan, capable of producing liquid Ammonia (1,200 tons per day) and granulated carbamide (2000 tons per day). Neste Jacobs provides PMC services (Project Management Consultant), the other project stakeholders are SOCAR (Customer) and Samsung Engineering (an EPC contractor).
 
Work consists mainly of reviewing vendor documents and coordinating the Engineering plans, witnessing the field inspections, reviewing commissioning and start-up procedures and following-up the commissioning of Process Plant and Utilities, testing and other similar EPC contractor work at the construction site (on behalf of the Customer). The job description includes responsibilities to act as communication interface between SOCAR (Customer) and Neste Jacobs (PMC). The work will continue until 31.7.2017 and there is a possibility to continue in other Neste Jacobs projects after this project.
 
We see benefit for you to have M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and have experience of the process industry. You should have several years of experience in large scale international projects and good English language as well as communication skills. Russian or Azeri language skills are an asset.
