Project (Construction) Manager
We need candidates for fit-out activities.
Duration: (4 – 5 months)
DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties
o Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects;
o Plans and coordinates all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors;
o Determines the scheduling of different phases of a project, based on established deadlines;
o Controls delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites;
o Confer with supervisors or other managers monitoring of construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes.
o Daily email checks for correspondence from clients, subcontractors, suppliers.
o Making daily tasks lists and delegating responsibility;
o Manage the workforce on site;
o Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to workers and other professionals;
o Instruct and supervise construction personnel and activities onsite;
o Manage subcontractors and local suppliers of material;
o Arranging and leading on regular team meetings;
o Keeping up to date with any policy and legislation changes;
o Undertaking site checks to monitor progress
o Monitoring budget reports
Other duties
o Perform other duties as assigned;
o Provide leadership and assistance where needed within the company;
o Preserve confidentiality of the company’s business activities and customer information;
o Cooperate with the management of the company in order to achieve legal compliance and meet our own Quality, Health & Safety and Environment standards;
o Not take risks which could affect own or other persons’ Health and Safety.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Level of education: Bachelor degree in Construction-related field, civil engineering.
Experience: 5 years construction related work experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Excellent planning, resource management, general construction skills;
• Language skills, English and preferably Azeri and Russian;
• PC literacy (MS Office Programs, AutoCAD skills);
