Requirements:

- Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English;
- Excellent guest interaction and general verbal communications & effective listening skills;
- Graduate of Sport Academy, Rehabilitators, Therapists or other relevant educational institution;
- 4-5 years of experience in Fitness and Spa Centre;
- 1-2 years supervisory experience in 5 start luxury properties and/or top Health Club – Spa facilities    required;
- Extensive Knowledge of MS Office (essential);
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritize well;
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and First Aid practices;
- Displays an excellent understanding of tools and technologies of the department;
- Understand structure and function of the Spa and Fitness Operations;
- Applies guest orientation in all interaction levels;
- Good swimming skills;
- High degree of focus on Standards & Quality;
- Ability to make decisions and make use of his/her own initiatives;
- Proven manager with a high level of energy and motivation, ability to motivate a team;
- Professional and appropriate business appearance and presentation;
- Excellent organization, coordination and performance skills;
- Reliable, organized and punctual;
- Must have excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills;
- Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing to actively improve revenues.

Job Duties:

To establish, co-ordinate and administer financial planning for the control and success of on-going operations. Direct the operation of policies, procedures, plans, and programmes governing all operational and financial matters of the facility.  To ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness).
- Direct operations of facility including short and long range strategic planning so that the  facility operates cost effectively and efficiently;
- Insure a harmonious business fit;
- Meet with group meeting planners to show Club facility and programmes as required;
- Promote and sell customised spa programmes to conference groups as required;
- Provide and be responsible for the professional delivery of all information on the telephone and in person to all potential members;
- Assist in the implementation of market strategies and new business and market identification;
- Assist in the implementation of public relations programme i.e. calendar of events;
- Work efficiently with Hotel Public Relations in all aspects of fitness promotions and media as required, work with advertising and promotion as required;
- Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, and promotions, including sales techniques;
- Administration and implementation of associates training in all aspects of the Club’s operations i.e. business telephone usage, guest relations, services, retail sales;
- Supervision and operation of all spa operation;
- Establishment of business relationship with all vendors and development of all product inventories.
- Establishment of organisational charts, positions descriptions;
- Development of standard, departmental and facility personnel operating procedures for the club;
- Oversee effective scheduling of all services and special programming;
- Responsibilities encompass the area of fiscal budgeting and analysis, including the development of annual budgets for the various sub-departments within the club;
- Establishing the control of financial operations will require co-ordination and administration of an established plan with sufficient supporting schedules to enable measurement of actual performance to budget;
- Develop facility's business, budget and staffing plans;
- To ensure the Club maintains a positive relationship with all departments in the Spa and the hotel;
- Responsible for the efficient training of all associates in all aspects of job tasks;
- To conduct performance appraisals in a timely manner;
- Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets, including revenue and members retention;
- Designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue.
