Sales Executive
To call on accounts and report directly to the Director of Sales.
To increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationship with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets.
To develop and maintain new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.
To enroll as many qualified Private Line members as possible from active accounts and to service Private Line members according to the Private Line manual.
To distribute corporate directories (worldwide Directory, Worldwide Guide) and other Hyatt sales collateral as appropriate.
To maintain accurate accounts and data sheets on all active accounts; to monitor this data via the Delphi Sales and catering system.
To carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets.
To entertain key accounts when necessary with prior approval the Director of Sales.
To attend the Daily Sales Briefing.
To maintain an efficient corporate and travel account database, following company guidelines.
To maintain all other hotel records and forms as prescribed by local hotel and management policies.
To follow operating standards on the use of Delphi.
To identify, report and respond to market needs and trends.
To monitor and analyze competitors sales promotion and activities.
To constantly refine product knowledge.
To respond to any changes in the departmental functions as dictated by the industry, company or hotel.
Able to work under pressure, good knowledge of the market, self-starter
Able to build business contacts and establish networks for maximum effectiveness
Understands the role of Sales as a “strategic business partner”
Meets own deadlines and is able to establish relevant deadlines for others
Professional and well-groomed
Representative of the employee grooming standards
Speaks clearly, concisely and with confidence
Demonstrates an ability to explain and present products and services
Fluent in English and Azeri; Russian is advantageous

Ability to work with other departments within the hotel including Finance and F&B
• Graduate degree – preference given to Sales, Marketing or business-related degrees
• Knowledge of MS Office essential; Delfi (desired)
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing
• Working experience in hotel in general advantageous
• Experienced and comfortable communicating with potential clients
• Excellent IT skills, including word-processing and presentations
• Strong social skills and ability to build business contacts
• Seeking to build long-term career with Hyatt
