Workover and Fishing Supervisor

Responsibilities: 

- Provide technical support and organization for 24-hour work over and well servicing operations - Including fishing, cementing, perforating, stimulation and well control.
- Coordinates, plans, schedules, supervises and documents well completions, recompletions of existing wells, workovers, P & A’s, and various other well work operations.
- Participate in job planning including AFE’s, cost tracking and equipment purchases
- Serves as a liaison between Superintendents, Supervisors, BEOC crews and contractors
- Insures all rig activities and personnel are in compliance with environmental and safety standards / policies.
- Coordinates supervision for coiled tubing operations, snubbing operations, fishing operations, well control, unconventional completions, slick line operations and fracture stimulation.
- Ensures that all operations in the assigned area of responsibility are conducted in accordance with internal policies, procedures, operating and surface use agreements, government regulations and conservation practices.
- Initiate actions that will enhance the operation's safety and HSE performance.
- Responsible for correctly implemented work, and performance of department’s assignment and tasks given from the management in time.
- Maintaining the existence and storage of relevant documents and materials in the work process.
- Keeping confidentiality of specific (private) documents and information.
- Observe safety rules while working.      

Requirements:

- Must possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Must possess an intimate knowledge of fishing tools, service tools, artificial lifting systems and troubleshooting techniques for oilfield support equipment.
- Valid IWCF Well Intervention and Control Certificate.
- Valid First Aid, H2S, TDG and WHIMS certificates.
- Language- Azeri (Fluent), English (intermediate), Russian – desirable
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with all levels, builds teams, and develops staff.
- Computer skills; spreadsheet software capabilities.
- Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deviate from established procedures when special problems or opportunities arise.
- Developed knowledge of risk management and safety requirements affecting oil and gas drilling and production.
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Self-starter and team player
- Self-management skills
