POSITION: Guest Service Agent at Intourist Hotel Baku, Autograph Collection

Purpose:

We are committed to providing the highest of standards in product, presentation and hospitality to our guests. As a cohesive team dedicated to the needs of our customers, we will anticipate and respond to our guests with professionalism, discretion and good will.

Main Duties:

o Checking guests in and out of hotel per set standards.
o Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
o Overseeing VIP guests, arrivals and departures.
o Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment.
o Being cross-trained in all functions of the Front office department: Night Audit, Reservations and Front Office.
o Processing guests’ accounts.
o Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
o Handling a cash float.
o Providing excellent customer service as per hotel standards.
o Greeting guests as they enter and exit the hotel.
o Providing information regarding the Hotel, attractions, activities etc. To respond to change in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

Requirements:

o 1 year of Front Office experience.
o Good command of the English, Russian and Azerbaijani language is essential, both written and verbal.
o Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of shift.
o Must be professional and well groomed.
o Must possess strong organization time management skills, attention to detail.
o Must be able to work shifts - days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
o Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
o Must be guest service focused and a team player.
o University degree from a Hospitality related program preferred.
o Must possess excellent communication skills.
o Professional in demeanor and presentation.
o Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
o Ability to learn quickly.
